If you weren’t able to attend Olive Yew’s first-ever Etsy Craft Party earlier in June, we have some bad news: You missed an amazing good time.
Fortunately, there’s good news too: We had so much fun, we’re almost certainly going to do it again soon.
For a few hours on a Friday afternoon, Olive Yew’s workshop transformed into a classroom as intrepid partygoers went hands-on and learned the ins and outs of soldering, assembling and putting a custom stamp on one-of-a-kind pieces of handmade jewelry. When the work (and snacking — see below!) was done, everyone went home with their personal creations all ready to wear. (That’s the kind of homework we like.)
The love (and goodies) did not end there. Everyone who attended received a special bento box (made just for the event) that featured locally-made candles and cookies, a special piece of handmade Olive Yew jewelry (also made just for the event) and a tree magnet we designed specially for our students for the day.
To all who attended the workshop, thank you so much for making such a fun event possible. If you have any pictures showing off your creations, we’d love to see them! Tag or hashtag us on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter or Vine so we can tell you how fabulous you look.
To those who couldn’t make it, we’d love to see you next time! Keep an eye on the blog or any of our social channels [points to those colorful icons in the far top left corner of the page] for any future announcements and details. When we know more, you’ll be the next to know!
